Konus Burners, Primary, and Vat Pumps
1 Manual Valve
When the PP1 primary pump is being used to supply oil to the thermal
oil circuits, this valve is open. When necessary to bleed the oil out of
the pump for replacing, the valve should be closed. Please refer to
the” Isolation and Change Out Procedure” for the sequence for
opening and closing this valve.
2 Manual Valve
When the downstream PP1 primary pump is used to supply oil to the
system, this valve should be in the open position. The valve should
be closed when necessary to change the pump or filter. Please refer
to the “Isolation and Change Out Procedure” for the sequence of
opening and closing this valve.
