16 Flow Control
The valve is used to control the flow rate through the No.17 relief
valve.
No. 16 Flow Control
17 Air Piloted Relief Valve
Oil is ported from the pilot port of valve No.13 to this relief valve when
the no. 14 directional valve solenoid is energized when winding
paper. The valve is used to control the nip pressure of the rider roll.
The No.13 valve will self regulate oil flow to the cylinders allowing
only enough through to maintain the pressure required to open valve
No.17.
